I teach music theory and music history, as well as assist in voice training. With my extensive skills and knowledge, I am devoted to enriching my students’ lives by fostering their lifelong love of music.

Music is my passion, and playing and teaching the piano is my life! I have 11 years of formal piano instruction and more than 30 years of teaching experience. My college degrees in music and piano performance and business communications enable me to earn a living doing what I love.
I am the past owner of B Sharp Music School in Crestwood. I also teach at Townsend Music School since 1991.In addition, I work for the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra. My teaching philosophy is the traditional method including the fundamentals of note reading, fingering, rhythm skills and technique.
